For doctors and health professionals

A tool to support the clinical decisions of doctors and health professionals, not for self-diagnosis or self-treatment.

This calculator is inside the patient's file in Clinicato: open it from "Medical tools" while you chart the visit, it fills in from the patient's details and vital signs where they are recorded, and adds its result to the visit's plan in one tap, with the "Medical tools" add-on. Calculator

Medical note: The result supports a clinical decision, it does not replace the doctor's judgement or examining the patient, and is to be checked against your reference before any treatment decision.

How it works and when to use it

From the first day of the last period (or the due date) the calculator sets the usual windows: the first-trimester scan and nuchal translucency, the anomaly scan, the glucose tolerance test at 24 to 28 weeks, Tdap at 27 to 36 weeks, anti-D at 28 weeks if Rh negative, GBS screening at 36 to 37 weeks, then term and the due date.

Each date carries its source in the ISUOG, ACOG and ADA guidance, and the calculator marks what is past, now and coming.

Reference: ISUOG first-trimester (2013) and mid-trimester (2011) scan guidelines; ADA Standards of Care / ACOG Practice Bulletin No. 190 (GDM, 24-28 weeks); ACOG Committee Opinion No. 718 (Tdap, 27-36 weeks); ACOG Practice Bulletin No. 181 (anti-D, 28 weeks); ACOG Committee Opinion No. 797 (GBS, 36 0/7-37 6/7 weeks); ACOG Committee Opinion No. 579 (term)

Frequently asked questions

Is every date needed in every pregnancy?

They are the usual dates in the guidelines, and the doctor decides what fits each pregnancy and may ask for more or at other times.

Why is the anomaly scan done at a set time?

The baby's organs are clearest in mid-pregnancy, and ISUOG sets it at about 18 to 22 weeks.
