How it works and when to use it
In assisted conception the day of fertilisation is known exactly, so the calculator adds 266 days to conception or IUI, 263 days to a day-3 embryo transfer and 261 days to a day-5 transfer, as ACOG sets out.
It also shows the equivalent LMP, from which the usual weeks of pregnancy are counted.

Frequently asked questions
Why do day-3 and day-5 transfers differ?
A day-5 embryo is two days older, so those days come off the time left to the due date.
Is an IVF pregnancy redated by ultrasound?
Not usually, the transfer date is the most accurate in these pregnancies and the due date is taken from it.
