Calculator
How it works and when to use it
The calculator multiplies your weight by the need per kilogram for your situation: 0.8 g for a healthy adult, 1.1 in the second half of pregnancy and 1.3 while breastfeeding, the Recommended Dietary Allowances of the US Institute of Medicine.
Over 65, with regular exercise and during weight loss it shows a common guidance range from the references listed with it, and says it is not an RDA.
