How it works and when to use it
Corrected age is the chronological age minus the weeks the baby was born before 40 weeks, and until the original due date the postmenstrual age (PMA) is used instead.
Corrected age is used to assess growth and development in babies born before 37 weeks, usually up to 3 years of age, by the AAP definitions.
